I say non agents because you do all the work with these agents who "save you twenty thousand dollars in commission". Lets look at the facts: Commission is around 2.5%-2.9% in Queensland. That usually buys you three months of a skilled, educated, licenced and indemnified agent who is regulated by the Department of Fair Trading Qld. Audited by a Professional Auditor and the Government. ... With the "no commission" non agents you pay for all services that they provide - up front, every service they provide you pay for. The old saying "you get what you pay for" is true of Real Estate Agents and Lawyers and Restaurants and Schools and Doctors and just about every Professional out there...
