24.01.2022 I just read a post on a forum asking how to find a lawyer in Australia. My immediate reaction is to say ask around your friends and acquaintances whose opinions you respect and see who they recommend. Failing that telephone the Law Society and they will give you a list of three names in a particular area of law. Finally, ignore advertising because it’s not what law firms say about themselves that matters , it is what others say.
