22.01.2022 NATIONALS ARE GO | A decision has been made today that the Nationals will go ahead in January, no matter what. If Sydney is still quarantined from other sta...tes by that stage, the tournament will be moved to either Newcastle or Canberra on the same dates where all can enter. Where it is will finally be will be decided on 2nd December when Queensland will announce their next border movements. NOTE: Victoria's border to NSW opens 23rd November so Victoria will be there! NATIONAL ARE GO!!

06.01.2022 MEET OUR COACHES | This is the second of our new series "Meet our Coaches". This week AFA would like to introduce Mackay & Whitsunday Futsal Coordinator Germa...no Ribeiro! Germano was born in Porto Alegre, Brazil and as a child played futsal at school and later football at the University Club in his home city. In 2004 he was signed by Club Nacional de Football in Uruguay. Fellow club players incuded Luis Suarez, Diego Forlan (ex Manchester United) and Alvaro Recoba. In 2006 he went to the USA and played for Crowder College in Missouri. Once back in Brazil, he completed a Bachelor in PE in 2011. In 2012 he moved to Australia with his wife to study English. In 2013 they moved to Mackay and now have 3 daughters. His enjoys cooking southern Brazilian Churrascu. Yum!
