Paronella Park has always been a favourite stop for us and this time we stayed for 2 nights in one of their cabins. 20.01.2022 My guests earlier in the week, we're staying at Palm Bay Resort and although it was a little windy and cold on the day, they all had a great trip and some nice snorkeling. After Whitehaven, I showed them a place where they saw lots of stingrays and turtles which was a new experience for them.

17.01.2022 Jacqui and I visited the seldom explored Deloraine island on Tuesday - it is about 4 miles north of the Hill inlet on Whitsunday island and has a rugged beauty about it. Not always an easy place to get ashore, we were quite lucky with the right wind and tide which gave us a chance to go for a stroll along both beaches.

15.01.2022 My Palm Bay Resort guests yesterday wanted to have a quite day away from the crowds so we spend quite some time at Chalkies beach where they explored and relaxed. 11.01.2022 We had a very special day on Tuesday - Nadine and Daryl got married on Whitehaven Beach by Marriage Celebrant and our longtime friend Donna Fornasiero. It was a gorgeous day and I was privileged to be part of it - they even trusted me to hold onto the rings until they were exchanged. Conditions were glassy plus an almost total white-out caused by the drizzle and low cloud that we had all day. Long island can be seen in the background.
