23.01.2022 Hello All. Taking into consideration all of the recent updates in relation to social distancing and after much deliberation, we have decided to cancel Taekwondo classes for the last two weeks of term starting tomorrow. Any pre paid training fees for the upcoming fortnight will be held in credit until after the school holidays. We will update everyone about the resuming of classes toward the end of the school holidays. Similarly, the upcoming grading scheduled for Sunday 29 March has also been postponed. Health, fitness, self discipline and much more. Look no further. Whitsunday Taekwondo is now seeking new students to join a great family-orientated martial arts club here in the Whitsundays. Classes from 4yrs to adult in Proserpine and Airlie Beach with all classes being conducted by 5th Dan Master Instructor Vicky Gillam Hodges. Classes available from 4pm to 7pm Monday to Thursday. Free stuff!! Whitsunday Taekwondo would also like to announce that we have extended our free uniform offer to new members until the end of the 3rd school term. Your first lesson is free so please come down and see us and get your free information pack. Fair Play Vouchers Whitsunday Taekwondo is now registered to accept Fairplay Vouchers. Round 3 applications for government funding up to $150 opens on the 6th July 2020. 19.01.2022 Hello Everyone Latest COVID-19 Update *** - FREE TRAINING - *** Due to administrative processes in relation to being COVID Safe, there has been a delay in the commencement of Taekwondo training at the Proserpine High School Hall. As a result, until the end of the month, training will only be conducted at the P.C.Y.C. in Jubilee Pocket on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the usual hours.... Due to the inconvenience this poses to some Club members, I have decided that training will be free until the end of July 2020 for ALL students. Any credits currently held will remain in place until normal training resumes. I would like to encourage all students to return to training as soon as possible, as we are keen to see the Club thrive once again. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us. Otherwise we look forward to seeing you all again soon.

18.01.2022 Hello Team. I hope this finds you all happy, well and safe. I just thought it was time for a TKD update as it seems we are slowly getting back to normal and as such need to start preparing for our return to training. At this stage we are looking to commence training on Monday the 13th July with all classes returning to normal times at the normal venues. Our logic here is that this is the start of the third term and it also provides a couple of extra weeks for the dust to ...settle in relation to social distancing etc. We will commence automatic deductions for fees from this date and payment schedules will resume. If your circumstances have changed then please let us know ASAP so that we can make the required adjustments. We are very much looking forward to catching up with everyone and getting back into our normal routine and please feel free to contact us with any issues or concerns. 01.01.2022 We need your support! I was recently talking to Jason Raiteri who was a Wing Commander in the Royal Australian Air Force for 15 years, and now is the Presiden...t of the Proserpine RSL. As you all know we first had Cyclone Debbie and now Covid19. Like so many of our local businesses, the Proserpine RSL is no exception, and is doing it tough. It's an awesome organisation that needs our help and support while we enjoy a great lunch out, a raffle and some good company. Kick off will be at 11am on Sunday 23rd Aug. where you can enjoy $5 Schooners, a raffle, and a great lunch at the Blaze cafe.
