16.01.2022 While restrictions are slowly being lifted throughout the state, Hamilton Island is still a couple of months off from welcoming visitors back to the island. AN ...IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM HAMILTON ISLAND ENTERPRISES Following the Australian Government’s announcement restricting all non-essential travel, Hamilton Island will no longer be able to welcome guests until 1 July. This decision is temporary and we will be watching the advice from the government closely in the coming weeks. Hamilton Island would like to stress what is most important right now is to ensure everyone follows the government advice to avoid the spread of COVID-19. Hamilton Island will be doing all that we can to support our guests during this time. Due to long call wait times, we would respectfully ask guests not to contact our call centre and instead our reservations team will be in touch with you directly. We are currently working through the most urgent travel dates on a rolling basis and it may take us a few days to reach all guests. We would like to reassure you that we will be in touch to discuss either a choice of a refund or credit for travel for your Hamilton Island accommodation booking. If you have not booked with Hamilton Island directly and you have used an agent or booked through a private company operating on the Island, you will need to speak with them directly about your reservation and their terms.
