25.01.2022 THE GREEN TEAM: MEET ROXY If you’ve visited the Club lately, you have no doubt met the fabulous Roxy who joined us after moving from South Australia in July. You’ve probably given her detailed instructions on just how you like your coffee, told her all about your round with a detailed play-by-play of the day or simply chatted about the weather but now it’s time to get to know her better... What do you like best about being part of the Green Team? ... I love meeting new people and getting to know the members the community here is great. I also like working events and functions, the atmosphere on the day makes them so enjoyable. When I’m not at the Club I am studying - I’m currently a full-time university student studying Psychology. Aside from that you’ll find me eating out with family and friends or on my paddle board at Shingley Beach. Favourite Colour? Blue. Other Languages? Spanish. Dogs or Cats? Cats! Special skills? I taught myself to knit during lockdown. I also pride myself on my coffee art Make sure you say a big hello to Roxy and ask for her best coffee art!

20.01.2022 LADIES DAY What a success! Yesterday, 60 fabulous ladies joined us for our first ever ‘Ladies On The Green’ event. The sun was shining and so was the golfing talent with Janice, Di, Linda and Sally taking out the win with a net 18, 7/8. The food was delicious and the wines were flowing, thank you to everyone who attended and made it a wonderful Sunday afternoon experience to remember.... We are only just getting started with our events! Plenty more to come... Make sure you’re a Club member to be in the know, first. It’s only $50 per year with a once off $50 sign up fee. 17.01.2022 GREENS IN PROGRESS... THANK YOU, valued members and guests, for your patience as we continue to undergo the arduous task of upgrading our greens. Our commitment to quality is paramount and we apologise if the greens havn’t been up to scratch lately. We have been working hard to rectify this and are well on the way to having them back in perfect playing condition.... We hope to have all works completed by Friday 23rd October - we will keep you updated throughout the next week. In the meantime, pop down to the Club to check out our progress... 07.01.2022 AND THE WINNER WAS... Glenn Rees (5) took out the win for a second time with 20 points in our Members Comp last week. Just too good for Peter Flavel (12) who followed with a close 19 pts. Wayne Singleton and Perri Simpson probably need to be swabbed after their 17 points each with the handbrake on all day...The handicapper is watching!... Also, our Pro Andy Farrow managed a hole in one on #3... If your game isn’t getting any better, come and have a lesson to fast track your BETTER!

05.01.2022 COURSE CLOSED Dec 27th As wonderful as the rain has been, it has unfortunately left our Greens unplayable for today. While our course will remain closed for the day, the driving range is open and fully operational for anyone and everyone looking for some fresh air and a swing....
