23.01.2022 ***** THIRD session added - Tuesday 15th December 12-2pm ***** Venue is McDonald's Mackay Multisport Stadium If you have already booked and would prefer to change from Saturday to Tuesday - private message the FB page and it will be transferred. Limited places Tuesday.... For interested players born 2003-2006, our Phase 1 session (fitness assessment) will be held on Saturday 12th December/Tuesday 15th December. There are now three time slots to choose from and can be booked using the Trybooking link - https://www.trybooking.com/BNKFL A separate email will be sent with a link for a digital waiver/medical alert for Integrated Bodies. Players will secure a spot in Phase 1 and Phase 2 for $50. Phase 2 (fitness re-assessment) will be held mid-January 2021 prior to Phase 3 in February which will be a training session followed by a selection session for the academy (on the same day). 02.01.2022 Nissan State Titles 2020 Pool games are now completed. We are so proud of how these girls have performed against some well oiled Metro Machines. I feel disheartened at the fact that we have only had one day to prepare these kids for this amazing comp, especially because they are playing against teams that ALL play together in their local comps here in Brisbane.... In alot of these games, the score board was definately not a clear indication of the true performance of these young athletes. They went out with heart and determination to show these teams what regional Netballer's can do. Just IMAGINE what we could do with more time as a squad of Netballer's throughout the year? One team in particular said how awesome our girls were and would hate to think how we would have been if we HAD of had the opportunity to train more. I wanted for these kids to be able to get as much from this experience as possible, with players playing in positions they have never played before, to even mastering new skills, they have never used before. I would like for them to take away from this experience that if its meant to be, its up to me. Never give up on you hopes and dreams. With everyone's support, i really hope that we can all come together and build better pathways within our own region, to be even more competitive in these competitions, to showcase our local talent. We finished 05th overall in our Pool and tomorrow, take on the Thundercats at 08:00am.
