25.01.2022 Ever wondered what it would be like to sprint through the streets of Bowen in a go-kart? Here is the footage captured by the master go-karter - Dale McDonnell during the Bowen Motoring Festival. Did you know that Dale has won 4 QLD State Championships and the Australian Kart Masters? His first State Title victory was in Sportsman Heavy at the Queensland Closed Titles in Emerald in 2014, from there he went on to win 2 classes, KA3 Super Heavy and Tag 125 Res Medium at the 2...016 Queensland State Championship held over 2 rounds at Warwick and Rockhampton, a feat not achieved by many in the sport. The following year in 2017 he went on to win the Tag 125 Res Medium QLD State Championship for the second year running this time at Ipswich and Mackay. Then in 2018 he won the Australian Kart Masters at Coffs Harbour in Tag 125 Res Heavy. Also massive shout out Dale for his support & his business support - Mirthill Pty Ltd as one of our sponsors! 17.01.2022 Hey Rally Crews & Officials - Shaun Cassidy has lost a pair of extremely sentimental sun glasses. They were lost at the start of Stage 2 at Rally Whitsundays. The glasses fell off the roof of their car at the start of SS2 and the officials at the start control gave the glasses to the following rally car. If anyone has any idea where they are, who may have found them or find a pair of glasses in your rally car that is not yours, please contact here or the Cassidy family dir...ect. Thanks in advance!

01.01.2022 With the government measures put in place for the number of participants, spectators and Queensland border restrictions, the preparations for Whitsunday Festival of Motoring, host of Rally Whitsundays is postponed for this year. However we will be back in 2021 to explore the spectacular racing grounds at Whitsunday Sporting Car Club, events hosted at Coral Sea Marina, Mantra Club Croc, Airlie Beach Hotel plus more across the Whitsundays, Heart of the Great Barrier Reef. 01.01.2022 First place winner Alan Stean said it was important to support the massive effort involved to stage this inaugural event and to enjoy the wonderful scenery of North Queensland. The officials were very encouraging, the weather was great, the venues were excellent and the stages challenging, he said. In all, we are happy with the great result, congratulations Rally Whitsundays, we will be to your beautiful region again no doubt.... Congratulations to Marius Swart and Alan Stean who took out the win in the Rally Whitsundays during the first round of the P3 Solutions Queensland Rally Championships held over the Whitsundays Festival of Motoring!
