21.01.2022 GUYS! The Qld Minerals Council (or is it the Queensland Government?) have launched TV ads. They're claiming that dredging millions of tonnes of seabed and dum...ping it in the Reef's waters is completely fine. The Queensland tourism industry need a healthy Reef. Not ads saying "someone else wrecked the Reef". We need your help. This was our first look at a famous ship wreck here ...in our backyard - Wayne - Nadine - Sam and Candy took Underwater Still Camera's and Underwater Video Camera (Go Pro). Have a look at what we experienced ... The SS Yongala covered in marine growth like Black Coral, Whip Coral, Soft Coral and Sponges ... a vast array of marine animals concentrated into 100 meters, was like being in the middle of a "Blue Planet Doco" with Stingrays, Turtles, Barracuda, Grouper (size of cars) and large schools of fish - AMAZING !!!!
