16.01.2022 FYI!!! Bruce Highway Roadworks - 3 Feb 2020 to 14 Mar 2020 Bowen / Gregory River / Hamilton Plains... Single lane operation, and road shoulder closed. Scheduled times Monday to Saturday, 6 AM to 6 PM Lane or lanes reduced Both directions Delays expected (during active hours) The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) advise motorists that temporary delays can be expected due to roadworks on the Bruce Highway at various locations between Proserpine-Shute Harbour Road intersection and Bowen. Works will be undertaken from Monday 3 February 2020 to Sunday 14 March 2020, between 6am and 6pm, weather permitting. These works will result in single lane closures and shoulder closures during daylight hours. Reduced speed limits will apply, and traffic control will be in place.
