24.01.2022 THANK YOU - to all our students, families and community members that have contributed to our ‘bread tags for wheelchairs’ project. We now have 5.5kg.... that’s over 11,500 breadtags saved from landfill - WOW!!! Please continue to collect bread tags from your family and friends over the holidays.

10.01.2022 Please be mindful that we have families that rely on the Disabled Parking spaces to drop off and pick up their children. These spaces are important for our students that cannot walk the additional distance into our school. Not all disabilities are visible. Please only use these spots only if you have a permit to do so. If we all do the right thing, it makes things easier for all. Let's all help each other succeed!

08.01.2022 Students in Year 2 have been working hard on information reports. First, students were asked to select an animal of their choice to research. Next they needed to write their own research questions and complete their research using a range of non-fiction texts. Students were then given the opportunity to present their learning in an oral presentation. The results look fabulous and most importantly, our students are so proud of themselves!

08.01.2022 Students in Year 3 are learning about volume and capacity. They used measuring judges to discover what the capacity of a drink bottle was and then filled it up with the amount of liquid required for our experiment. They were able to able to make lava lamps using this knowledge.

04.01.2022 Today two of our Year 5 students participated in an English Masterclass at the Whittlesea Library. The two students have been involved in a program through the Virtual School throughout term 4. Today's masterclass was a celebration of their participation. Our students were involved in discussions about how a writer is inspired, how they organise their writing schedule and how they research their content. We look forward to one day seeing one of their own books available to borrow at the Whittlesea Library.
