23.01.2022 The Results are in! The Whittlesea Agricultural Society would like to congratulate our winners and thank all those who entered our Irwin Stockfeeds Hoof and Hook Competition. We were fortunate with our generous sponsors and organising committee to still host such a successful event during these challenging times. Without Sponsorship competitions such as these would not have been able to go ahead.... Thank you to our hoof judge Rocky Capsciolto, and the support of Rod Carnegie from Nutrien Ag Solutions Euroa. 17.01.2022 The Whittlesea Agricultural Society Inc. has, with much consideration, decided to cancel the 2020 Annual Whittlesea Show. The continuing restrictions associated with COVID-19, especially the management of social-distancing and the possible risk to public health during large events were the major factors for this decision. The uncertainty of knowing when these restrictions would be lifted has made it very difficult to forward plan for our annual Show. We take this opportunity ...to thank all those involved in the Show including our many supporters, volunteers, exhibitors, sponsors, local community groups, stall holders, entertainers etc. We know that for some of these groups the Whittlesea Show provides a major contribution to their fundraising and annual income and we are saddened that we are unable to assist by providing an event this year. We look forward to providing our 161st Whittlesea Show on the 6th & 7th of November in 2021.

16.01.2022 Paul Ray and Students were a great feature at the 2019 Whittlesea Show, here is one of their local students Cherri Anderson who came to sing for us, releasing her song. Check it out!

13.01.2022 Saturday was a lovely day to visit the Memorial with the kids for some quiet reflection on the sacrifice that was made by all our service men and women, both in the past and currently. Thank you to Whittlesea Flowers and Bears for creating the lovely wreath from the Whittlesea Agricultural Society in tribute. We will remember them. ^Rose

04.01.2022 The Upskill and Invest Young Farmers Scholarship Program provides young farmers and/or young farm workers up to $5,000 towards training or study (Upskill), and up to $5,000 extra funding to invest on-farm or in professional development (Invest), to put new skills into practice. Each year, 12-15 scholarships are awarded to young farmers aged 35 or younger. Since the program was established in 2015, 63 young farmers have been awarded scholarships. The scholarship program is designed to be flexible and to fit with the different demands and ambitions of young farmers. It provides young farmers and those who work directly on farm with an opportunity to invest in themselves and their career.
