23.01.2022 ACOUSTIC SESSIONS : : ANDY LOADSMAN Bringing the good vibes this week we have The Voice superstar direct from Melbourne making a special guest appearance Andrew Loadsman delivered maybe the best audition that The Voice has ever had for his blind audition according to platinum-selling artist Joel Madden back in 2016 (Season 5)... The 30-year-old, who grew up in the Macarthur region, wowed the judges with his moving and passionate performance of the Imagine Dragons song Demons, achieving a rare four-chair turnaround. Andrew Loadsman is an experienced entertainer with a unique vocal tone and technical guitar skills and we look forward to welcoming Andy to Moses Barnes this Saturday night we are super pumped and can’t wait to hear Andy bang out the tunes

We are very excited to announce that after 4 years in the planning Picton will soon have an incredible new venue CAFE _ RESTAURANT _ BAR Showcasing the freshest most local produce we can find right here with a seasonal and exciting menu guaranteed to get your tastebuds tingling and your mouth watering. Operating 7 days a week with trading hours yet to be confirmed however we will be offering breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. Offering both indoor and outdoor spaces. We will have an amazing venue for engagement parties, christenings, naming days, birthdays even weddings. We hope to be opening within the next four to six weeks, creating a relaxed, vibrant, family friendly venue one that our community can be proud. Stay tuned to meet Moses. 11.01.2022 Wow what a week! So weve officially finished our first week and what I can I say we are pooped.. its been exhausting & overwhelming but we have loved every minute.. we have laughed, cried and nearly given up but its so been worth it to see you all...I would publically like to thank all our staff over the past week who have worked their butts off going over and beyond you have made us so proud we couldnt of done it without you...We had 3 goals in mind when starting this sm...all business - support other local small businesses, give young people an opportunity for employment locally and create a vibrant meeting place for our community and weve met all these goals within the first week..I have no doubt Moses is so proud of what we have created and he may have even visited us over the past week! Thank you for everyone that has supported us given us feedback and bared with us over the last week whilst we iron out any teething problems it means we get to do it all again over and over hopefully forever May the good vibes better times continue MB

08.01.2022 F R E E C O F F E E ... The Real Pandemic 8 Australians die every day by suicide. That’s more than double the road toll. 75% of those are male. Over 65,000 Australians make a suicide attempt each year and in 2018, 3,046 Australians took their own life... Loosing someone you care about is always hard not knowing why is even harder.. so many questions and what ifs...this became a reality for us around 18 months ago when we lost someone very close to us One of the main drivers for opening our café was that we wanted a place that we could touch hundreds of people every day with a smile and ask them how they were doing..a vibrant community space, a place where people could come together in good times and in bad, a happy place with good vibes only... We wanted to create a happy comfortable place that when they walked through those doors they felt like that they had come home, that there were people here that they could talk to and that would listen.. if we can make one person happy everyday I feel as though we have succeeded.. So in honour of this we wanted to throw our support behind are you ok day. A day about creating a conversation that it’s ok not to be ok that there are people out there prepared to listen and along with that help if you need it...you only need to ask... Our goal is to raise at least 1k for the cause and in the process create awareness about mental health especially in these trying times never before have we needed each other than now! Huge shout out to the legends at Allpress Espresso and Country Valley for thier support and helping make this happen..
