24.01.2022 New Blog Post . Emotional eating a relevant topic for a highly emotional time of year . Let us start by acknowledging that emotional eating is normal. Food and eating are tied up with emotions from when we are young. Think birthdays and celebrations. What about when we are older, how many of us centralise food and eating when catching up with friends or going on dates?... . But what about when we eat out of sadness, loneliness, boredom etc? . We are conditioned to believe that this practice is bad, but it is actually your body’s way of helping you to cope with whatever is going on for you in that moment.
