23.01.2022 We’ve just taken a fresh delivery of our beautiful Nell’s @chai_time_chai - making the shop smell amazing. And we’ve just jarred some up for those hard to buy for last minute gifts. We love this product and that we are able to access it with zero packaging. We get our empty jars to Nell and she fills them straight up. 20.01.2022 Picked up some more copies of this book by @shanesurfboards Shane Stedman for the shop yesterday. Enjoying reading about his early life and career, but I’ve particularly enjoyed reading stories about my grandparents, and seeing some old family pics. My favourite part so far is about my grandfathers story that ‘the sun always shone above the clouds’. (He flew Lancaster’s during WWII) I think that could be taken along in everyday life. Sometimes when it seems dark and cloudy, there’s always a sun up there. Happy Thursday lovely ones

18.01.2022 I know exactly what you’re thinking, what an exciting photo to scroll past on a Monday night! But bear with me. We sell these mega sized tomato tins which are great for bulk cooking but also equally as great for reducing a bit of waste. See, you get just over 6 x 400g tins of tomatoes from this big one. I portion them up and freeze in jars like this one. If you are freezing in glass, always remember to give yourself a bit of space at the top of the jar as the contents will e...xpand and you definitely don’t want an exploded jar of diced tomatoes in your freezer, let me tell you! Messy town! Anyway, these work out to be about $1.60 per tin. I don’t think you’ll find a BPA free lined time of organic tomatoes that don’t have extras like citric acid and the likes too, even from the big guys! It all adds up this reducing waste business (and heaps the good pocket in this case!). A little bit of time spent portioning them up can help to go a long way. Happy Monday Lovers!
