13.01.2022 Snake season is upon us. While we have already spotted a few of our resident pythons out and about from hibernation, today we had an encounter from the lesser seen brown snake in one of our brom sheds. I usually work with headphones in, singing away to music.. luckily today just happened to have them out and heard the snake rustle under the broms just metres away. Pays to be aware and make your presence known when working in your garden or greenhouse. ... Always gives you a bit of a startle having such a close call, but knowing that it wants to get away from you as much as you want to get away from it, just means that with a bit of diligence you can both avoid each other and get on with your day. Might just take the rest of the afternoon off though See more
