Give this recipe a go and tag Wholesome Movement VEGAN Banana Bread ... cup non-dairy milk (almond, soy, coconut etc.) 1 tablspoon ground flaxseeds 1 cup all purpose flour 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon baking soda Pinch of salt 2 large mashed bananas 3 tablespoon sunflower oil 3 tablespoon maple syrup 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Method 1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees fan forced. Line a loaf pan with baking paper 2. In a small bowl, whisk together the milk and ground flax and set aside 3. In a medium bowl, combine flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Whisk well 4. In a large bowl, whisk together the mashed bananas, oil, maple syrup, vanilla and flax mixture. Add the flour mixture and mix until just combined do not overmix! 5. Pour the batter into the pan, slice a whole banana in half and arrange the two pieces on top. 6. Bake for 50 minutes and let it cool before removing it from the pan 7. Serve warm with vegan butter!
