19.01.2022 Why hello there! It’s been a while since I last popped in here. I hope you are all feeling calm & collected leading up to the big day, Christmas!). Today marks 3 days to go to Christmas Day, which means that Wholesome Wellness is officially on holidays. YAY.... Before I go on, please note this is a bit of a long one, so if you have no time to stick around, I just want to say: I wish you all a joyous Christmas and peaceful rebirth into the New Year, 2018. From the bottom of my heart I want to thank you all for your support over 2017, I am beyond grateful. XO - And if you are still with me, wonderful! Here is the rest: As we start to wind down over the festive period, preparing to say goodbye to the year that was and welcome in a fresh new year, this is often a time where we reflect and look back on the past 12 months of our lives. Reflecting on what we have done, haven’t done, etc. As well as also setting intentions/goals/resolutions for the year ahead. For me, I have learnt that starting a business comes with many ups & downs and triumphs & challenges, and this year has been a big one for Wholesome Wellness and myself. With that said, I have decided to listen to my heart and extend my holiday break a wee bit longer than the norm. I will be taking from now up until the end of January off for some deep reflection and much needed me time. I am hoping that by stepping back from my business I can focus on filling up my cup, recharging the worn out batteries, and return with a fresh mind & zest for business once again. I understand that this is quite a while for me to be closed, so I hope this news doesn’t inconvenience you. But at times like these when we feel we have nothing left, we must stop what we are doing, retreat, and look after ourselves. So maybe this here is a message (or your sign) or a loving reminder to do the same in some aspect of your life? To take a step back (no matter how hard that decision may be), to go within (whatever that means for you), and to refill your cup (however that looks), to return refreshed, rejuvenated and reenergised, in order for you to show up as your best self. Now, before I take up too much more of your precious time because hey, it’s nearly Christmas!! Take care, have fun, and be kind to yourself, always! I look forward to my return in February. 15.01.2022 WHOLESOME WELLNESS TURNS 1 This week Wholesome Wellness turned 1! My oh my, this past year has flown by. It certainly has been a journey. A journey that has been challenging and eye opening, but I am grateful for all the experiences this past year. As birthdays are a day of celebration of birth, for this little biz, its also a time of REBIRTH. ... As we come into our second year of existence, I have taken an extended period of time to reflect on what I want Wholesome Wellness to be and how she can best serve. There are lots of things that are evolving and shifting in this business. Some shifts are external and some, internal. But they are all good things! So with that said, I will be working slowly behind the scenes to fine tune some things before this rebirth can be released out into the world. The best advice/lesson I have learnt during this time, both in business and on a personal level, and advice that I think we can all benefit from, is: Take it slow and be gentle. A heart full of gratitude for you all. Watch this space
