25.01.2022 Stress, depression, fatigue, brain fog & anxiety had STOPPED me in my tracks! I was becoming forgetful, couldn’t focus & was fast giving up hope. I needed ans...wers & I needed them IMMEDIATELY! In March of 2017 I finally hit breaking point! I had become severely depressed. I was experiencing brain fog & fatigue & it didn’t matter how much personal development work I did, it NEVER stuck. I would get a quick injection of motivation, but it always ran out. Worse yet: * I was struggling to focus * I began procrastinating * I was constantly exhausted * I couldn’t make clear & concise decisions * I had no sense of purpose or direction And, I lacked the confidence and lasting motivation to ambitiously pursue and reach my goals. I wanted to go 100 miles per hour, but it was as if someone had SLAMMED on the hand brake and I was STUCK spinning my wheels. I had goals that I wanted to achieve, but there was this unknown factor preventing me from reaching it and it didn't matter how much I tried to PUSH through, I could never get ahead. And, as the days went on, I got more and more disheartened, especially hearing the self-help gurus yelling "QUIT MAKING EXCUSES" and "JUST DO IT!" They make it look so easy! The problem is, when we look at peak performers, we only look at their psychology, not their biochemistry. If you were to take a peak performer and deplete them of Vitamin D or Magnesium, they would suddenly become depressed, procrastinate, make excuses and become lazy. And, it wouldn’t matter how much you told them to apply willpower, they would eventually run out of the mental energy required to maintain it until they fixed the underlying issues. The truth is, we can’t become peak performers until we apply psychology and biochemistry in tandem. The two are interlinked and can’t be separated, and yet, the strategies we’re taught to improve our lives, fail to factor this in at all. I had enough of the misinformation peddled by the self-help industry & watching people suffer. However due to the new restrictions there will be a few mandatory requirements for all clients.... As recommended by the Queensland government and massage associations, all clients MUST wear a mask before, after and DURING the massage treatment. This is for the safety of my clients, myself and all our families and friends. 05.01.2022 ***IMPORTANT CLOSURE NOTICE*** Last night the PM rolled out new restrictions to help control the spread of COVID 19 and limit social distancing. Unfortunately massage was singled out as one of the business that’s needs to be closed until further notice. As of tonight (Wednesday 24th March) I will be CLOSED until further notice. ... There has been a lot of debate around whether remedial massage is classified as a ‘healthcare’ some of us would agree that remedial massage is a health benefit. However, I have a duty of care to my clients and this decision was not made lightly and was very difficult for me. Hopefully we might have more information over the next few days. So please stay tuned and I will provide information when I know more. I wish to thank all my clients for your support at this time. I will be back, as I have been given the all clear (hopefully not too long). All clients that currently have bookings will be contacted over the coming days. 03.01.2022 Hi All, I know everyone is eager to come back in for their treatments that are now very overdue. I will be starting back from the 6th May officially to all clients. ... To the lead up to this date, I will be treating a small group of clients that have a more serious condition that need my attention first (these people will be contacted personally shortly). Although they are allowing remedial massage to return, we still have to apply to social distancing measures and infection control protocols. With this in mind during the month of May (will be reassessed in June depending on COVID-19 situation) I will be treating less people per day and limited hours. This is to help reduce the amount of people I am coming into contact with and less people coming into my home. I hope you understand that these measures need to be taken to protect myself and my client’s welfare. All measures I am taking: - Limited clients per day and limited working hours - I will only be offering 60mins or less treatment times during this period. - As there is a massive list of clients I need to treat, I will only be booking in one appointment per client at this stage till I have had a chance to catch up and see everyone. - If you have any cold or flu like symptoms I ask you to please reschedule or book another appointment; if you come in with any symptoms I will unfortunately have to ask you to leave and come back when you are feeling better.
