19.01.2022 This was Saturday mornings job chipping weeds in one of our paddocks after all of the rain.

18.01.2022 This is spelt grain the picture on the right is how we sow spelt and harvest spelt. The picture on the left is spelt that has been dehulled. You can't sprout spelt grain that has been dehulled. And as a farmer it's up to us to educate people on food and how it's grown. That is the reason why spelt flour is expensive because it has to be dehulled before it gets conditioned then made into flour. This week i am going to put this on our online store so that people who want to sprout spelt can buy the non dehulled grain. I just assumed people knew this so I am sorry that you didn't know. When people camp on our farm and book threw hipcamp we actually do flour mill tours and we explain all of the different grains that we grow and how they are processed.

11.01.2022 I have just learnt something really interesting as a former nurse I thought this was amazing. I have an online customer in Queensland called Dom who loves our rye grain and he loves it not because he is making his own flour or bread or sprouting it. He loves it because he colonised our rye with lions mane fungus which makes Lions Mane Mycelium people use this for nerve regeneration in humans. How interesting is this

10.01.2022 Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year and what a year it has been. Thankyou to Randall and Tanya Aidan and Zoe for stepping in and stepping up when the pandemic began in March. Thankyou to our wholesalers retailers bakery’s and online customers without your support we couldn’t do what we are passionate about. 2020 was the year that Australia realised that our local food supply is paramount to our survival. And how much we rely on Australia farmers to produce this. Please take the time this Christmas to spend with family and friends and enjoy each other’s company. This year it made us all realise what is important. God bless

07.01.2022 I have just read some information regarding the 25k stimulus package to small business. From what I have read its based upon the tax you have paid from your employees wages. So if you only paid $2000 in tax from wages you will get maybe $1000 spread over the 4 GST Bas months. Its a media bullshit story. Their will not be too many small businesss receiving any money as most small businesss are family owned. Thanks Scott and the liberal party
