16.01.2022 The Whyalla ANZAC Vigil Committee wish to regretfully inform that the 2020 Whyalla ANZAC Eve Vigil has been CANCELLED. In light of the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we are following advise & instructions from the Federal Government Department of Health & RSL SA Branch, as we feel that it is in the best interests of our community to reduce the risk of possible contamination of this virus to our participants, their family members & the general public.. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. We're looking forward to seeing you at our 2021 Vigil. Until then, stay safe & healthy!

12.01.2022 Just a reminder that there WILL NOT be an ANZAC Eve Vigil this year due to Coronavirus personal distancing requirements. This is in the interests of public health & wellbeing. We look forward to seeing everyone for what we hope will be a bigger & better ANZAC Eve Vigil in 2021. Until then please keep safe & stay home as much as possible.
11.01.2022 The RSL State President has released a bulletin RE: the current Coronavirus pandemic & it's affect on ANZAC Day Services. Note that this applies to 2020 Whyalla Anzac Eve Vigil. At this stage we are still going ahead with preparations for this year's Vigil. However, we (the committee) will be following advise from the RSL so please be aware that our event may still get cancelled as the wellbeing of our community is paramount. ... Please stay tuned for further updates!
10.01.2022 For those interested in taking part in this year's ANZAC Day Dawn Service, please find attached the service details. The RSL are asking that you participate at home. Please DO NOT attend at the War Memorial for Dawn Service. If you would like to lay a wreath you may do so at any time during ANZAC Day, but please maintain the required 1.5m physical distancing from others who may also be there to pay their respects.
07.01.2022 We wish to inform everyone that due to circumstances beyond our control tonight's ANZAC Eve Vigil meeting has been cancelled. Our next meeting will be held in 2 weeks time, on Monday 2nd March, 7pm at the Alex Ramsay Community Hub. Hope to see you then. Sorry for any inconvenience caused!... 06.01.2022 The 2020 Whyalla ANZAC Eve Vigil may have been cancelled, however the RSL will still be holding a modified ANZAC Day Dawn Service. Please show your respects on ANZAC Day morning by taking part in the Driveway Dawn Service. Lest we forget!
