11.01.2022 The Whyalla Special School invites all current and past students, teachers, principals and families to join the school community in celebrating the 50th year anniversary, Thursday 21st November 2013 Celebrations will start with a free commemorative afternoon tea at the Billing Street site. Guests will then have the opportunity to join a tour of the new Russell Street site. Celebrations will finish with a formal celebration dinner at the Sundowner Motel Hotel, Alfresco Area ($...28 per person) Bookings are necessary for all events. 07.01.2022 An Information Session on ‘Preparing for the Future- for parents of children with Special Needs’ by the Legal Services Commission, is being held at the library 1pm Thursday 14th November. The session is free and will help parents understand the legalities and negotiate the endless paperwork needed to help prepare for the transition into adulthood. If you are interested please either private message Tricia Gerahty or call the Whyalla Special School.
