13.01.2022 The Whyalla Judo club has been chosen as the recipients of all proceeds from the Peppercorn Markets upcoming event on 8th November 2020. The Peppercorn Market aims to benefit community organizations by providing a significant fundraising opportunity, so this is fantastic for our club. As the beneficiaries we are expected to provide significant assistance to ensure the smooth running of the market. This includes setting up/packing down, rubbish removal, selling raffle tickets..., helping stall holders, monitoring and collecting donations at the jumping castle, collecting entry donations. We are expected to have volunteers on site from 7.30am until approx 4pm. We need a minimum of 12 people to be on site at all times. Youth members can assist with donation collection and raffle ticket sales (under supervision), running errands. The more raffle tickets sold equals more money for the group. At this time we are looking for our members and families to indicate when during the day they will be available to assist. For easiness we have split the day into 3 time slots. We will be looking for assistance with set up from 7:30am to 10:00am and 2 other slots of 10:00am - 1:00pm and 1:00pm - 4:00pm for general duties outlined above.
