18.01.2022 Check out this incredible piece of plastic trash artwork by The Washed Ashore Project It turns out that sharks should be way more frightened of humans that we should ever be of them. A new study has confirmed that four species of North Atlantic Sharks, found that of 46 captured sharks, 67% of them had ingested microplastic. ... 14.01.2022 Sadly, a global study by the University if Exeter and Plymouth Marine Laboratory has found that 100% of baby turtles have plastic in their stomachs. 800 plastic particles less than 5mm long were found in the turtle's guts, averaging 150 pieces of plastic in each animal. What will it take to have single-use plastic production halted? All we can do is keep trying.... Please make the switch to compostable packaging and choose plastic-free wherever you can. @oceanbottle (IG) #whynotnow #bethechange #saynotosingleuseplastic #planetoverplastic #planetoverprofit #saveourwildlife #bansingleuseplastic #compostforthefuture #changeisinyourhands

13.01.2022 Way to go South Australia! Hopefully we don't have to wait until 2025 for the same legislation in Western Australia. As the state with the longest coastline, we should be promptly following suit. ... We choose our planet over plastic and composting over recycling. Lets make the switch for a compostable future and true circular economy. 09.01.2022 This is why we believe in a circular economy and a world without waste. Our friends at BioPak have made it their mission to bring the most sustainable, environmentally friendly packaging to the world. They believe in a world without waste achieved through composting and we proudly stand beside them.... They only need one more thing to achieve this important mission. EVERYONE! Lets do this and compost for our future and our planet. There is no planet B. Say no to single-use plastics every time you can. The future is compostable. 02.01.2022 97% of the world's water is held by oceans. 88% of this surface water is polluted by plastic waste so it's mind-blowing to think about the devastating state of the ocean floor. Our actions over the past decade will determine the state of the ocean for the next 10,000 years so isn't it about time we stopped producing single-use plastic? @say_no_to_waste_nz (IG)... #whynotnow #bethechange #saynotosingleuseplastic #bansingleuse #planetoverplastic #planetoverprofit #saveourseas #saveourplanet
