04.01.2022 UPDATE Thank you to everyone for your kind words and thoughts. There was not much of any value kept in the shed, it is used for storage. Some of you have thought my loss was greater than it was. I am more upset about the fact that I cannot use my little system of leaving parcels in the shed for my customers who cannot access the shop at the times I am there. I am opening most Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 10am until 12 for the moment, but please phone first to... check. 0419840054 Our community is a great community and I wouldn’t live anywhere else Thanks everyone. WARNING! RANT! Admin please remove if not allowed. Whyte House Gallery...the local independent craft shop in VH, has been trying to help crafty customers with their craft supplies over the lockdown time. Orders have been taken and paid for over the phone or the Facebook page, parcels have been left behind the shop in a shed which has a combination lock on the door so that customers can pick up their orders at any time that suits them, day or night and can be assured for the transaction to be completely contactless. Well sadly, no more. Someone or someone’s relative or neighbour has spoilt this for everyone When I arrived this morning, the lock had been taken from the door, ( so whoever it was, must have known the combination) the shed had been ransacked One of my customers only wanted a little skein of thread so I asked her to leave the $1.50 in an envelope and exchange for her parcel and yes that was taken!! To whoever did this YOU ARE PATHETIC! You have spoilt my effort to help people while I’ve been closed. KARMA WILL COME
