19.01.2022 ***New: Ribbing Packs*** Did you have a fabulous weekend? I spent the weekend celebrating my littlest birthday, I can't believe he's 5! It's slowing sinking in that my little boy Blake isn't so little anymore because he starts "big school" next year To keep my mind busy (yes, still in denial) I decided to work on putting together the start of these ribbing packs that's been on my To Do for a while. If you have been following me through my "wicked" journey the last few years... you'll know how much I love ribbing. I decided to run a report last week and was shocked to find I have over 100 ribbing variations in stock...I'm really not sure how that happened but oh well, it is what it is lol. If you suffer paralysis by analysis like me then I'm hoping you'll find these packs useful and if you are new to ribbing then these are the perfect starter packs to get you going. 14.01.2022 For the last 12 months I've been making a conscious effort to improve my sustainability footprint at Wicked Fabrics so you may've noticed when you receive a parcel from me, packaging varies. This is because I'm trying to use up bulk stock (there's no point tossing them out as this defeats my sustainability and recycling efforts) while introducing a long term sustainable option at the same time. It's a work in progress and constant learning curve to find which sizes by which b...rand works best but I'm hoping by year end I'll have my interior packaging switched over and at least half of my exterior packaging as well. I decided not to go down the route of custom packaging at the moment as there's enough packaging sitting in docks and warehouses as is, we have so many amazing australian and international home compostable brands to turn to for help in this area that I feel it's important I support them New tough bags has been added to the range on a trial basis, this is made out of kraft paper outer and Australian Made. 12.01.2022 The thing about trend and colour palette is that it emerges early. It's because we are micro influenced daily and then all of a sudden we see the same few trendy shades, tone or style everywhere as "trend" grabs hold of society (at this stage a design or style is peaking or has peaked). Neutrals such as this trio is one of the more popular palette purchased from my shop, maybe classic colourways has their own trend cycle as well? Just realised there's a lot of blue and grey in my feed lately. Do you shop by trend or do you stick to a colour palette that you know works for you?

10.01.2022 Thinking I need to push the restart switch, always happens to me on a Tuesday I've gone in to double check inventory and fixed my oopsies, should be adequate stock available via the website for today's restock items (previous post). I forgot to include Vilene Mask Interfacing (https://www.wickedfabrics.com.au/vilene-white-ilc-151-sew-/) on the list, it is back in stock but once it sells out I won't be restocking unless there is an urgency for more).... Same goes for the mask elastics, I have discounted rolls further so I can move the boxes that's taking up floor space. Elastics can be used for other purposes than mask making and handy to have around. 01.01.2022 Every time I've gone looking for quilted jersey it's been double sided so I'm glad I stumbled across this single sided jersey (the textural quilted look is on the face side of the fabric) because it means the fabric is more versatile and can be used across different seasons. Gotta love that! This is the Light Petrol colourway, only a small amount left
