24.01.2022 Big thanks to James Morrison A1 Engine Tuning for a run on the dyno this morning, if you want maximum performance hes the man to see! As for the ute, well not to bad for a little 253 I guess.

23.01.2022 Bathurst 1000 Smash Repair Team Australia, 1999 As a young panel beater this was the number one prize, only the top student from each Tafe was entered for selection, I was lucky enough to be chosen and got to work with an amazing group of other talented students from the automotive industry chosen from Tafes from all around Australia.... We got to repair any of the race cars that smashed at the Bathurst 1000 in 1999 and loved every second of it. From small welding jobs to massive smash repairs we did the lot, and there was no stopping till the job was done, the day before race day started at 6am and continued till 7.30am the next morning (race day) just to get the car back on the track for the main event. Meeting some of the legends of the sport, working on their cars and being invited into the pits on race day are some of the memories that will never be forgotten.

19.01.2022 Wed like to thank Stoo Copeland for trusting Wicked Panel & Paint to restore his beloved Jensen FF #007, Stoo came to us around 12 months ago and wanted 007 back to its former glory, neither of us knew what we were up against until 007 was taken back to bare metal. A few surprises popped up but over all the body was in good shape with minimal rust, the worst of the rust was found in the hatch which needed a full rebuild of the inner lip. Here are a few pics of what was done to 007.

After restoring Stoo Copelands 007 Jensen i thought id never see another one again, few weeks later at our local car show Ken and his Jensen clipped a post at the show which required our help.

15.01.2022 Having a great day cruising around Coffs with my boy today until this, I swear some people would have thought it blew up there was that much smoke come out of it lol, the belt split and took out the tranny line, very glad to thats all it was when I lifted the bonnet

Rex and Darran Williams VK blue meanie, this was a full restoration requiring the usual rust and panel repairs with a lot of attention put into making sure everything fitted correctly with good gaps and alignment. It's now off to the mechanic and trimmer to be finished off.

10.01.2022 Its been another eventful week on Mathew Duggans XB ute, Theres been a few issues pop up as with any modifications but we soon worked out what was needed to resolve them. After fitting our custom hinge kit we soon learned that it just wasnt enough to hold them big old school doors as tight as wed like so it was time for plan B, beef up the hinges!

10.01.2022 Another local HQ done, cant wait to see this cruzing around the Coffs coast. A lot of attention went into the lines and gaps on this build, the HQ has some tricky lines that can be a pain to get right, I think we done alright! #HoldenHQ

07.01.2022 2017 Shannons Show & Shine Coffs Harbour, another great outcome winning best modified and best paint, this year seen a different look for the ute with a custom 3 layer blue pearl paint job. Well done to Stoo Copeland for putting on another great event!

06.01.2022 What a beast of a Bronco! Brought in by a local Grafton man after seeing some of our other restorations, All he said was "make it look Wicked" lol. This old Ford was in need of a serious rebuild with a lot of cancer that needed attention, lucky the boys at Wicked Panel & Paint were up for the job! Big thanks to Darren, Kyle and Mick for the effort boys.

02.01.2022 Were really excited about our next project, Mathew Duggans Ford XB ute, Hes given us a list of mods he wants done to his dads ute including suicide doors, notched towers to fit a big block engine and a solid tail gate to mention a few, if theres one thing we love doing its mods. Heres a look at our custom suicide hinges for the XB, these hinges have been built with rebuildable bushes for future maintenance and also feature a modern check strap for holding the door in position once open. Keep an eye out for more progress pics as we transform this ute into something Wicked.
