15.01.2022 Today marks 1 year since Wicked Things were announced as the winners of the first @stoketravel sound check battle of the bands competition (With a 4:40pm time slot). We went into the competition with absolutely no expectations, a hunger to blow the judges away, and honestly a good reason to have a bev with our mates. After putting away the bar we were asked to play another song, what we thought was a runners up song to announce the winning band. Next second we've been told we...'re heading to Europe for the summer and wont be back for a few months. For a band put together a year prior to the competition this was a massive move for us and an absolutely unforgettable experience from all of us From waking up on the floor of a 40 degree tent, to playing to thousands screaming our name. From freezing our junk off in Oktoberfest Munich to not wearing a shirt for a month in Costa Brava. From the hills of Aia to the narrow streets of Pamplona. Every second was a wild ride with a team of hundreds that we shared countless debaucherous times with. Whilst wed like to shoutout everyone who made the trip great wed probably need a few weeks Were still working away at part 1 of the Euro Doco which will be released shortly. Otherwise weve got an original coming your way and still smashing away at all the covers you guys suggested. Cheers to the year gone by! #bringbacktheriff
