We do our best to share it around so that a.) there is always someome around to complete inspections and take your phone calls and b.) everyone gets some much needed rest, relaxation and precious family time. So over the next 2 weeks, please bear with us while we continue to work through your permits, queries and inspections on a skeleton crew.

10.01.2022 Update COVID-19 23rd March 2020 - Widdison Buliding Permits is currently open and will remain so until Government enforces closure or we have a suspected case or exposure within our office. IMPORTANT INFO MOVING FORWARD:-... For the safety of our employees and clients we would prefer communication to take part via email or phone. If it is essential for clients to speak face to face we will be holding all discussions in our front office and maintain a safe distance of 1.5mt between people. If you MUST come into our office, we ask that only 1 person attends, and again insist that if you have ANY of the symptoms of Covid-19 (coughing, sore throat, fever, difficulty breathing etc.) have recently traveled overseas or have been in contact with a known or suspected case you do not come in. Onsite inspections are still being carried out as normal at this stage, however our inspectors will phone from the car and request that employees on site remain a safe distance of 1.5mt away from our inspectors. Inspectors will be using hand sanitiser before and after entering your job site and possibly wearing gloves during inspections. Remember we can take new job applications and accept plans electronically. For further info on doing so, please email or phone our office on 5338 8544 [email protected] Don't forget, we all have a part to play in slowing the spread! Stay safe, stay home if you can and wash those hands! Victorian Coronavirus Hotline - 1800 675 398

09.01.2022 February already?! That means the City of Ballarat Smarter Parking has now begun! When parking in the CBD (including out the front of our office) you must register your car registration number either with the app (Cellopark) or the parking meter found near the round about on Grenville and Dana Street. each time you park. The first hour of parking is free (so long as you register , otherwise you could be issued a parking fine). Before you leave the park you must select stop on... the app or it will continue to charge. Hopefully this announcement can help our valued clients avoid parking fines.

07.01.2022 Random fact of the day - Did you know that any pool or spa (permanent or temporary) that has the ability to hold 30cm or more of water by law requires a fence that in turn requires a permit?!
