25.01.2022 WHAT TO BRING FOR 3rd FEBRUARY, 2019 PLASTIC BOTTLE PROJECT Soft drink Bottles (smooth sides Labels and sticky goo removed)... Permanent Waterproof pen to write on plastic Paints or coloured markers. Normal paints, iridescent, etc. Assorted sizes small beads Sticky tape Old Scissors (to Cut Plastic) Favourite Brushes (if using paints) Hot Glue Gun and glue sticks Small magnets (from Cheap Shops) Usual painting supplies and clean-up gear OPTIONAL EXTRAS: Dimensional paint, kindy glitz, Faux leadlight liner etc. See more

13.01.2022 FAUX LEATHER Requirements Sea sponge White transfer paper Tracing paper... Stroke and Blend medium Retarder/Extender Angle brushes.... all normal painting supplies PAINTS: as per the following colour chart. Use whatever brand you have, to achieve the similar colours here. (I think I used Burnt Sienna, which will give a pinkish colour when mixed with white.) But other brownish colours will work as well. Think "pale leather ". Only mix this colour just now. 1. Pale tan or flesh colour 2. Slightly darker version of above 3. Darkest colour of above. 4. Black 5. White 6. Darkest colour (3) plus a dot of black Basecoat your project piece. Then paint a good coverage of Colour #1. (Palest colour.) Print your pattern sheet, or use a pattern you like. See you next Sunday.

05.01.2022 GOLD LEAFING Hands-On You will need the following..... Cheap gold leaf (cheap shop) Cotton gloves A small project (picture frame, curio, old jewellery piece, seashells etc)... I will have gold size with me, but bring your own if you have it. Soft brush (like a mop brush or similar) Hair dryer Brushes and cloths as normal. Clean-up gear. Sand timber pieces, for a smooth surface Base coat timber pieces with black, or antique red.
