23.01.2022 Massive thanks to Liberte Arts's volunteer army that has been constructing our new kitchen mural, dark room and courtyard Lost Gallery over the last couple days.... We now have an awesome sunset mural in our community kitchen and a 2/3rds complete darkroom. Fantastic work everyone! 16.01.2022 The wind is blowing and theres a chill in the air that reminds me that winter is well on the way. A change I welcome after the unusually long spell of hot weather in Melbourne. For a while I thought I was back in nightmarishly muggy Brisbane. For me its a time to de-clutter and re-create a space for all the exciting projects Im planning to complete indoors over the next few months. I usually work in a space that I call organised chaos, but as Im preparing to share our ...space with even more creative people, Ive decided to follow the following steps: De-clutter and categorise. Excess clutter can add a heavy weight to any environment, so place everything, yes everything! All your tools and equipment into their own spot. I used my old bookcase to store all the art supplies into their categories, one for each shelf.
