21.01.2022 5 years ago we were camped out with horses at Native Dog Flat and heard a shot in the middle of the night... the next morning I heard a little nicker and found this foal looking at its dead mother. I tied Pebbles, the grey mare, near it and it bonded with her enough I could catch it. 'Lucky' will be ridden on our trail ride coming up which will finish at this same spot.
