15.01.2022 Wiburs Run has added lights to the pen today, with our first night of an extra 5hrs artificial light. Hopefully this produces more eggs! Watch this space to see if it works!

15.01.2022 A small patch of bushland within the recent Foxgrove Road HR has reignited but is well contained and poses very little threat. Our brigade has visited and assessed the flare-up and it will be monitored and patrolled. Some smoke may be visible. Here's a few photos from this afternoon.

13.01.2022 Please help us.Our Brigade donated in excess of 2000 hours fighting the Green Wattle Creek and Morton bush fires. We came to the reality that we are under-resou...rced and, because of this, our members struggled. We ask that you consider a donation to our Brigade. Monies raised will assist with the purchase of much-needed equipment including technology for our trucks to assist with mapping and GPS location, maintenance equipment such as air compressor, vacuum cleaner, tools and modern hose fittings (not usually supplied by RFS) and to subsidise truck driving lessons for members: not enough qualified truck drivers in the brigade. Donations over $50 will receive a special e-book we are publishing with photos, information and personal insights from members who attended the fires - some for the first time. Banking details are: BDCU Alliance Bank Account Name: Canyonleigh Rural Fire Service BSB: 802 101 Account No: 1000 72820 Feel free to PM us for more info. Your help is REALLY appreciated.

12.01.2022 It has been a big week for Wilbur's Run this week, with the final finshing of a new paddock. The sheep and poultry gave it a good looking over and I think we got the thumbs up from them. With just the finishing touches getting done tomorrow (installation of troughs), it will be fully operational. Thanks to my lovely wife Lorraine, friends and family that made it all possible. Great work team!
