05.01.2022 Gas supply to Mount Gambier has been interrupted due to a mechanical issue at the city natural gas gate station yesterday evening and is impacting supply to the... city. We regret to advise up to 9,000 customers are impacted. AGN and our contractor APA, are working urgently with crews in the area to fix the problem, however a resolution time is not known as yet. Once gas supply to the network is restored, natural gas appliances will need to be relit by a qualified gas fitter. We are working with local gas fitters to manage this process. We are contacting local commercial properties that may be able to assist with providing shower facilities and will provide updates soon. For safety gas consumers must not attempt to connect natural gas appliances to alternative gas supplies such as LPG bottled gas.
