24.01.2022 Sweet little Malia came in for a 4 month photo shoot to capture just how adorable she is. With ten tiny fingers, ten tiny toes and a cute button nose she is the ultimate Christmas gift for her parents Dan and Meghan.

22.01.2022 After the boys spend hours washing and polishing and trying to wait out the rain I thought I would take a photo because that shine was not going to last long. One of us was absolutely ecstatic there was road spray, the other likely had a tear in his eye lol.

22.01.2022 COVID UPDATE. Due to recent confirmed cases of Covid-19 in our town and cases within our shire I will not be taking any bookings in my studio for the next 3 weeks. Now is the time that we must all be proactive, not reactive!... Those who have pre booked or pre scheduled a newborn session will still continue as normal but will have strict guidelines.... Due to studio size I can only allow Mum, Dad and baby. If a sibling session was booked we will do that outdoors at the end of the session however you will need a parent or carer to look after your other children elsewhere during the newborn session. Strictly no shoes will be allowed in studio. If you have any symptoms of Covid or feel unwell in any way your session must be postponed. If you have been exposed to anyone with Covid your session will be postponed until proper testing has been done and cleared. Every item I touch or you touch requires sanitising/washing so it is a huge job after your session concludes. This is done to keep us all safe so your honesty and cooperation is non negotiable at this point. This decision could change at any time and my door could possibly temporarily close if cases in our town increase. Right now we are doing our upmost to stay home as much as we can. That is done for my family and yours. I ask my clients to please do the same. Stay safe. Lindy xx.

19.01.2022 Lockdown got me thinking. Below is a pic of myself and our only daughter who is now 11. I can remember every time I told my husband we were having a baby. Once I knocked the roller door off the track with his tradie racks because I was so excited to tell him I never let the door go right up to the top before I reversed out lol (I never got in trouble lol).... 19.01.2022 Advice given by Business Victoria due to the current Covid situation in Victoria... Unfortunately due to the unique nature of Newborn Photography I will be photographing those babies who are already born and closing the doors temporarily. All sessions are now edited, the tree is up, jobs list is growing so it’s time to enjoy some much needed family time. 17.01.2022 Meet NED. The gorgeous little man with lashes and piercing blue eyes we can only dream of! Ned was 5 months old when he came to me for his session as he was born just pre Covid lockdown. We may have missed those newborn feels but by goodness we most certainly captured his gorgeous 5 month milestone!

08.01.2022 This is what happens after a session during Covid times. The studio is literally pulled apart, sprayed, wiped and items washed in between sessions (which is a minimum of 48 hours in between clients). Such a lot of work but we must all do the right thing!

06.01.2022 Its important to remember as there is talk of Rural Victoria gradually opening up that Photographers may not necessarily open up in line with the same industries as last time. At the moment my main camera is off being serviced, perfect timing as I cant operate (nor should any photographer in Victoria). Upon reopening there will be new guidelines....... Family photographs will be offered however be mindful that if masks are still mandatory in Victoria you will required to wear a mask during your session unless you have an exemption. I know its not ideal but I cant change the premiers rules. Some may not love looking back on memories with masks, some may not mind as its a piece of history! My newborn sessions will also have new guidelines that will be assessed every fortnight. At the beginning - as long as I have to thoroughly sterilize ever single item that is touched in my studio, I will be limiting the number of people and who can attend sessions. Ive always sterilised items but this is next level. Every piece that I have in my studio is delicate and every wash reduces the longevity of that item. If a client, sibling or myself touches any piece of equipment I am required to sterilize regardless of the item being used. Its a matter of incredibly high hygiene practices which is also time consuming. Weddings- I will not be taking any more bookings for 2021 at this stage as its important to leave my diary open to those who have cancelled. This could change but for now that is fair for those who have sadly postponed their special day! I cant wait to get back into photography, its been too long. Due to Covid my doors have only been open for approx. 8 weeks this year and Im ready to catch up with you all. Lindy x.

03.01.2022 Todays announcement by the Victorian premier and advice just given by Business Victoria is exciting for some regional business. Unfortunately it does not apply to photographers at this point with masks being one of the major issues. Heres hoping that I am able to return to my studio before the last advised date being 26th October.
