17.01.2022 After plenty of consideration and with proud yet heavy hearts, we (Emma and Lisa) have decided to 'press pause' on many of our events during 2018 while we take this time to spend in the necessary restructure of our business. This means we will not be facilitating or running any of the following events in the Baldivis Children's Forest (or elsewhere) during 2018: School excursions Pre-school age workshops (monthly) Private workshops and; School holiday programs or Vacation car...e excursions We have thoroughly enjoyed every workshop, excursion and event that we have planned, designed and delivered to local families, schools and the wider community. We would like to thank every single one of the people both big and small who have participated in, supported or simply observed our work here at Wild About Nature. We hope that you have learnt something new about your local natural environment and specifically the wonderful Baldivis Children's Forest, had plenty of fun or simply taken a family outing to walk outdoors and breathe the fresh air! We certainly will miss being part of the connections and engagement made by adults and children with their natural surroundings. We will also miss seeing so many little faces 'light up' with wonder after completing our workshops! However, good news....we will still be planning and facilitating a few community events both at the Baldivis Children's Forest and at other locations during 2018. Keep posted about our upcoming events of 2018 by continuing to follow and like us on facebook. We are not ceasing altogether, just pausing! Here are just some of the many highlights of our past 16 months at Wild About Nature in photos.....

15.01.2022 To all of our wonderful wild followers, families, and wild kiddies, please note that on the evening of Saturday the 4th of November, we will be running a workshop for children during the Halloween Night Stalk and Fun event held at the Baldivis Children's Forest. This will be our last community event of 2017 and as such, we would love to see you there to help us explore the hidden and spooky night creatures of the forest. Arrive early to make your own bug spray and bug bite blend with Michelle Husa for only $5!
