22.01.2022 The doors are open on the new shop and the weather is perfect Where The Wilde Things Are has opened up a new shop selling unique and meaningful products which have been sourced sustainably from different countries throughout the world. They specialise in jewellery, scarfs and handbags. Their shop is located at 2/361 Mt Dandenong Tourists road in Sassafras.

22.01.2022 Sari traders travel throughout India, collecting silk saris no longer required by their original owners, which then pass through several hands before arriving in our workshop where they are upcycled & repurposed by talented tailors. * Read the blog on our landing page for more of this story spanning two continents.

'my top is fab with this scarf... and my tail.. well it is likely to have missed out on the quick change .. and still be covered in gardening garb!' ***** It's so true...a beautiful scarf can take you anywhere, even from the garden to the boardroom (via Zoom). ... I love it paired with denim or a leather jacket. The gunmetal sequin accents mean it is easy to pair any metal with! This is light enough that it can be layered in warmer weather too, and looks great with a pair of statement earrings. The slight "distressing" of the fabric means you can dress it down and wear casually, but would look stunning as a hero piece too!
