25.01.2022 Mama and Hug, Aleesah Darlison and Heather Charlton, at the Sydney Airport bookshop.

21.01.2022 Oh, I love watercolours. I don't think anything compares to the gentle impression that can be achieved with this medium.

15.01.2022 It is now less than 2 weeks until the art retreat weekend "Create it Wild" in Nannup. Place your booking into this inaugural retreat and enjoy the fantastic food at the function centre of Nannup Valley Chalets. The function centre overlooks a large lagoon on the property. You can learn great art skills from these professional Tutors while enjoying the company of like-minded people. And of course, enjoy delicious fresh farm to table food.

10.01.2022 Received this photo from a delighted mum watching her son reading William the Wild Builds a Cubby and following his directions to build his own awesome cubby!

07.01.2022 My picture book True Blue Amigos is about a kangaroo called Blue and her little mate Pedro the chihuahua who travel around Australia looking for a place to call... home. I know this picture book has found its way into the hands of young readers all around the country and I'm curious to find out about Blue and Pedro's travels. I'd love to see some pictures of the book in various OZ locations. If you add the hashtags #trueblueamigostravels and #lookingforblueandpedro I'll be able to keep track. Let's get started! My pic was taken at Rockingham Arts Centre as we were preparing for a book fair. See more

06.01.2022 The next Create it Wild in Nannup weekend is organised for March 23 and 24. We have a model for the weekend for painting and drawing. The fantastic felter Alana Rainer will share her craft. Crazy textiler Thelma Cluning shares her skills as a free machine character narrator. While Di Ness, our fabulous hostess caters scrummy foods! A weekend of fine food and creative fun. Join us if you can.

06.01.2022 Blossom Bee-lieve, Watercolour Papercut Assemblage. Ooooooo, I have been having such a good time creating these 3D watercolour images in shadow box frames. Click on the image to see properly. FB cuts lots off!

06.01.2022 Last week I was lucky enough to present and workshop with the Northwest schools of Lombardina, Beagle Bay, One Arm Point and St Mary's, Broome. Fantastic experience working with bright, bubbly, enthusiastic children, promoting literacy through children's book writing and illustration.

03.01.2022 What a great review. If you are a teacher or a parent and are looking for quality children's books to advance the reading of your children, then perhaps reading the review will help you make your next children's book selection easy. Carolyn Eldridge-Alfonzetti and Heather Charlton bring the forest alive in Rainforest Feasts. This beautifully illustrated book will keep your child captivated. https://www.weekendnotes.com/rainforest-feasts-book-review/
