23.01.2022 Wild Fauna is a luxury eco-friendly getaway in Merrijig set in a peaceful and picturesque location. Kangaroos, deer and birdlife surround the house and the elusive wombats and emus can also be seen in the area. This large stylish modern house has a spacious, open plan living area with large deck and fantastic views. Equipped for 10 it is perfect for families and friends. Spring, Summer and Autumn bring endless opportunities for hiking, fishing, mountain biking, horse riding a...nd 4 wheel driving or just sit back and enjoy the serenity and beauty of the high country. The Delatite river runs along the Buller road at the bottom of the hill and provides picture perfect walks or paddling on the warm summer days. Lake Eildon has many access points and some are approximately 40 minutes away if you are bringing the boat for summer water sports.
