21.01.2022 Congratulations to Earvin Dizon who has made it past the first round of the Under 20 NSW State Trials for 2021. Earvin started playing with Wildfire as an under 12s Junior and was one of the first Wildfire players to be selected at the state level when he made the Under 16s NSW Metro Team in 2017. Good luck at the next trials! We would like to thank the commitment and support shown by Earvin's parents and family during his time with Wildfire. #wildfireproud

17.01.2022 Congratulations to Wildfire's Simun Krpez for being selected into the NSW U18 Country and Metro Boys State Squad for the next round of trials. Simun's commitment to improving his game is second to none. You will see Simun putting in the work at reps training, Wildfire programs and clinics and especially on game day (Social or Representative). The final team will compete at the 2021 Under 18 Australian Junior Championship in Victoria April 10-17.... Simun, you make us #Wildfireproud

14.01.2022 HAVE FUN AND TAKE YOUR GAME TO THE NEXT LEVEL WITH OUR HOLIDAY BASKETBALL CAMPS! Wildfire are running 4 Full Day Basketball Camps in January where you will have the opportunity to be trained by our Elite Coaches, learn the game and play fun activities and challenges! These camps will be held at Michael Wenden Leisure Centre where we will utilise both courts, giving an opportunity for more participants to join at all skill levels. All participants will be placed onto a designa...ted court for his/her skills level to ensure the teaching and learning will be tailored to the their needs. Each day will have slightly different programs which means if you want to do more than one, or you may want to do all you will learn something new at each camp. 07.01.2022 Wildfire is extremely excited and grateful to have Rachel Herrick join us tomorrow which is the 5th week of our 8 week development clinic. Rachel has had an expansive career in Australian Basketball, playing in our Under 21 National Team at the World Championships in 2007 and has played in a number of WNBL teams including the Sydney Flames. Each program focuses on athletes at different ages and skill levels who are wanting to take their abilities to the next level. Lead by experienced Coaches, our programs provide opportunity for developing athletes to experience more success in the game as they learn and progress, leading to a higher level of confidence. 03.01.2022 After 4 weeks of competition these are our winning teams for the 2020 Wildfire Challenge. Freshman boys- LAKERS Junior Varsity- HORNETS Junior girls- ANGELS... Senior boys- WIZARDS Senior girls- MUSTANGS This challenge amongst our Representative teams proved to be the answer to a roller coaster season for us all. We had so many displays of sportsmanship and talent week after week, from our youngest up and coming players, to our Senior boys who competed in a 3 X 3 hustle. If the level of participation in our first ever wildfire challenge is anything to go by, we have some very exciting times ahead for Wildfire Basketball. Thank you to our referees and coaches for giving up your time and of course our players and their parents!!
