22.01.2022 Just back from a camping trip with friends and we were luckily enough to celebrate a birthday in the group while we were away. Can’t have a birthday without cake. Using edible pens we all wrote happy birthday messages on what started out as a blank cake and ended up an edible greeting card. It was definitely something a bit different and fun for everyone getting involved

02.01.2022 All good things must come to an end. Well not an end exactly but a long break at least. At the start of the year I decided it was time to sell our family home and downgrade from the big block of land we have up here in Bedfordale. Not an easy decision but a sensible one now we are on our own almost 2 years since the passing of my husband, Jace. The house sold and we will be building a new home (with an epic kitchen) but until then I won’t be able to take any orders or make an...y cakes for the next 6-9 months. Once the new house is finished and kitchen passes council inspection I’ll be looking forward to making lots of yummy cakes and sharing all my creations with you all again. But, before the removalists arrive tomorrow, I couldn’t resist one more cake because PINK!!!! For a lucky birthday girl celebrating her 13th and my last cake in our beautiful home. I hope you have loved all my cakes as much I have loved making them for you all. It has been a pleasure. See you all again very soon, Alison and family See more
