These books explore not having gender roles, stepping away from gender stereotypes and helping kids (& even adults ) learn about the power of inclusivity, along with respecting and accepting others for exactly who they are. If you’re wanting to instil these as core values in your little ones, these are great books to open up powerful conversations around embracing those values, because really, who doesn’t want their kids to be respectful, accepting and inclusive of others regardless of their difference in gender!

02.01.2022 In celebration of Pride Month we thought we best share some of the epic books we have in our space that cover a range of topics related to gender roles, transgender, gender identity, celebrating pride etc. We love this powerful little book by Scott Stuart, My Shadow is Pink, which explores being transgender and the power of embracing who you know you are. Check it out and share it with your kids to help them understand the power of allowing people to make their own choices regarding their gender and how to support people to be brave enough to be themselves
