I pick mine fresh and steep the petals in tea. Or mix them through salad... eat the ! You can also dry the petals and use for tea, mix through dough and make calendula biscuits, make salve or balm, infuse oil for massage, or anything other kind of healing earth magic your beautiful heart desires!

22.01.2022 Anddddd just like that, Wildforest Folk Emporium + Curios is open... well, kind of! We may be still waiting for shelving, signage, and other bits and pieces and it certainly isn't our official launch yet BUT the doors are open and I'm ready to welcome you- come and visit, have a browse, tell me how your summer has been! I have a beautiful range of gorgeous artisan handmade fairtrade from around the world (all created from natural materials)- from the Himalayas to Peru t...o Eswatini to Lapland to Thailand to Uganda and beyond, you'll find a beautiful range of handmade instruments, homewares, bags + accessories, toys (including the Rainbow Region's most magical fairy folk) and more! You'll also find an eclectic range of secondhand books (psychology/spirituality/Steiner schooling/natural parenting/nature/more), oracle cards, handmade paper journals, plants, crystals and fossils (rawr), and more... Still to come: even more rainforest-grown plants and produce, eco-art, jewellery (sterling silver, and beautiful traditional jewellery from Lapland), organic seeds, AND beautiful handmade products from makers and shakers from all over the Rainbow Region! 21.01.2022 A huge thank you going out to all of YOU who have showered Wildforest Folk Emporium + Curios with love, sparkles and smiles in my first week of soft opening! It's definitely daunting (beyond, even!) opening a new 'bricks and mortar' business during these crazy times of covid, and I have definitely experienced lashings of anxiety and self-doubt in the process... however I leaned heavily into my 'do it anyway' attitude whilst crossing my fingers that my vision would not onl...y be received but embraced, and the beautiful warm welcome I have received from the Bay and beyond has absolutely moved me deeply and brought me so much joy! Favourite moments so far include: * meeting my new best friends, two little sweet darlings (you may have seen them in my Stories) who were so giggly and vivacious and loved their felted fairy toys so much that they came to visit almost every day of their holiday! * connecting with a beautiful woman who actually burst into tears when she came into the shop, because her inner child felt so embraced and safe amongst the enchanted space! * hanging out with buskers right outside my door on Friday and Saturday eves (actually most evenings... it is Jonson Street after all!) * sharing hugs and love with beautiful travellers and locals alike who wander in and just break out into the big smiles that my market-goers will understand well! In a nutshell, I'm thrilled and so excited and can't wait for everything to come... one step at a time though (though my ADHD brain wants to do EVERYTHING at once) In the next week you'll notice my lovely rainforest grown plants as well as succulents and cacti moving in, and wonderful organic seeds from @greenpatchorganicseeds too! I've selected a great range to get your kitchen witchy gardens cranking whilst we still have this beautiful summer warmth happening I'll also finally get my Insta-shop happening, thank you to those lovelies around the world who keep gently pushing me- I'll be offering worldwide postage so stay tuned!
