20.01.2022 It is late notice. Hope you can listen in. I was only asked the other day after the original presenter could not make it.

19.01.2022 We visited the Barking Owl chicks today. Very cute and very inquisitive. These young Barking Owls will be feed by their parents for the next few months and will... disperse shortly before the next breeding season. It is believed that there are only about 50 breeding pairs in Victoria, so hopefully they find mates and new territories with breeding hollows. See more

19.01.2022 Ive been lucky to see many of these creatures. They are by far my favourite marsupial. This photo is one of the best I've seen.

19.01.2022 I came across this kind of thing when working for the state government. The local government I worked for were much worse. Fear is a powerful tool to control others.

18.01.2022 European Honeybees (yes the bees that make our delicious honey) are a major pest when they swarm and become feral. We have many hundreds of native bees that have an intrinsic right to be in the forests etc. Please control wild honeybee hives. They help nobody.

15.01.2022 This Gang Gang is lunching on Spitfires aka Sawfly Lavae. Hats off.

15.01.2022 Even if you are lucky enough to have a home in a natural hollow, the tree may have other ideas.

13.01.2022 Im a tree hugger and proud of it. These folks are an inspiration.

13.01.2022 This is a bit left of centre. When you're out and about, recording your observations can give you a reference for yourself and other in the future. Get out the pencils and paper and give it a try.

12.01.2022 Some may remember being told not to put baby birds back in the nest. I was told this. It is false. Always try to reunite the young with their parents. The same goes for mammals. This is heart warming.

12.01.2022 Attracting Laughing Kookaburras to your property with a quality nest box is one way to minimise the risk snakes can pose.

12.01.2022 Barn owlets Hans & Grete are practising their pounces Skills they will need when they begin to hunt

10.01.2022 These boxes inside the MAAW Op Shop may not have any wildlife in them but it may put the message on someones 'radar' that they could offer some wildlife a home on their property. Big thank you to MAAW Op Shop

08.01.2022 I love large old trees with lots of natural hollows. They always have so much character.

06.01.2022 Gliders love nest boxes.
