22.01.2022 That was an awesome storm that blew through Dalby this afternoon! You may find a bird nest down or nestlings or fledglings looking displaced. If it is safe to do so place the nestlings back up in the tree in a make shift nest made out of a container with drain holes and leaf matter in the bottom. Yes, if the parents are near by they will find and feed them still. The fledglings are on an adventure learning so be patient with them - the parents won't be too far away and ...as night falls they should get back up in a tree. Remember to put a shallow water dish out for all the birds in the shade of a tree!

19.01.2022 2021 begins! "Poppy", a wee eastern grey joey was located late yesterday, still in her dead mum's pouch by a lovely member of the public Chaise. Chaise had stopped to check for life and move mum off the road. Poppy has significant bruising and superficial wounds so her rehabilitation will be based on how she is day by day. Chaise and her sister Rachael did a great job at looking after Poppy until they could get her to Dalby this morning. Once her body was warmed up in the ICU she eagerly drank. Fingers n toes crossed for Poppy
