We have made this difficult decision following advice from the NSW Health Department and the federal government on how best to manage the risks associated with the current Covid-19 outbreak. 22.01.2022 There's no such thing as too many baby photos. The Wildlife Retreat had 5 resident pademelons when we opened in October last year and since then we've welcomed 5 joeys! Pademelons are very clever as they can put their pregnancy on hold in a practice known as embryonic diapause. The 2 pademelon joeys currently in the Retreat are both the result of this intriguing reproductive capability.... #wildliferetreat #proudlynotforprofit
