21.01.2022 This is one of our wild but resident possum, every night this cheeky one comes in to say gday and has a feed on the fresh vegies and fruit we put out... last night the cheeky bugger caught me of guard and stole the last of my nutbar

21.01.2022 A very big THANK YOU to the Team at Bunnings Palmerston for this wonderful donation of Avairies, Sheds, Wood and other much needed goods! This is all going towards the completion of our Possum and Glider Cove area. This pre-release area is being built to help juvenile possum and gliders get used to their native environment and prepare them for life after release

20.01.2022 Humpback Whales! What in the NT... You heard right! Not 1 BUT 3

18.01.2022 At the start of the year the NT community did an amazing effort of getting bushfire relief down south but IT'S TIME WE HELP OUR OWN! We have teamed up with the wonderful Donna Roos and the team at NT handrails to provide back to the community devasted by the bushfire over the last few days! Yes, you did hear correctly some people have lost everything including their most treasured items and their most beloved pets! If you were affected please reach out, we are all here to hel...p! How can you help???? At this stage all property damages is being assessed by insurance companies however we are asking for: Donations of gift cards for Woolies, Coles, Kmart, Bunnings, Target, Big W, Stock Feed shops ... etc We will keep you updated on bigger furniture items in the coming days! Volunteers to assist with putting out food and water stations for wildlife. Volunteers to assist people cleaning up their properties. Let show our community they are not alone!

16.01.2022 With a heatwave predicted for the NT, to last from today to Wednesday. We would like to ask you have you thought about your pets and local wildlife? Do they have enough water available? Do they have shaded and cool areas to rest? ... Put extra water bowls out! Fill up bird baths! If you have small kids water pools, fill them up for you dogs! Put extra water into pig pens if you can! If your at home, let your animals into the air-conditioning! If your animals or any wildlife you find show any signs of stress or dehydration or heat stroke; seek veterinary attention immediately! Their lives may depend on it!

16.01.2022 Big thank you to Lusa and her husband for driving these goodies all the way out to us on Saturday

15.01.2022 The fires of Australia’s Black Summer are recognised as the worst wildlife disaster in modern history, killing and displacing three billion animals. Wild Austra...lia: After the Fires, airing on ABC & iview on Tuesday, 1 December at 8:30pm, charts the year that follows the catastrophic bushfires, examining the long-term recovery of wildlife in its aftermath through stories of hope, human intervention and resilience. https://about.abc.net.au//media-alert-wild-australia-afte/ #ARC #AnimalRescueCooperative

13.01.2022 Someone's laziness made this happen! This animal suffered in pain whilst it slowly died, not before suffering dehydration or heat stroke, excruciating pain, loneliness. Its simple RUBBISH GOES IN THE BIN!... NOT OUT THE WINDOW, NOT INTO THE BUSH, NOT INTO WATERWAYS! #pickupyourrubbish #protectourwildlife #saveourwildlife #lazinesskillsanimals

12.01.2022 Night time means outside playtime for young Spring who now weighs in at 416gm Why does she go outside at night? We have a wonderful strong passel of possums that call our property home, being outside allows young possums like Spring to "talk" so to say to other possums throughout the night, which enables her to learn social skills that she will later need when released back into the wild.
