25.01.2022 Happy Birthday, Robert! We can’t believe you’re already 17. You have achieved so much in your life and we are beyond proud of the Wildlife Warrior you are. You inspire the world to love wildlife and wild places. We love you!

23.01.2022 Bunny the koala arrived back at the hospital this week. After spending three months with us over Christmas last year following car trauma, he's now been attacked by a dog. He will be spending another Christmas in hospital. Legislation requires koalas to be released within 5 kilometres of where they are found, something we’re passionate about changing for the koalas protection. It's tough not having the freedom and responsibility to release koalas into safe areas without having to go through so much red tape. We are so invested in these individual animals, and seeing them admitted to the hospital multiple times is devastating," said Dr Rosie from the #AustraliaZoo Wildlife Hospital.

21.01.2022 With so many koalas being admitted to the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital, and a new Koala Intensive Care Ward being constructed, we’re in the process of planning a new koala food plantation to keep up with feeding these fuzzy little guys! Thanks to the support of our Wildlife Warriors around the world, and our partners at Australia Zoo, we can make this a reality!

17.01.2022 Daniel the wallaby lost his mama after she was hit by a car. He was brought to our Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital incredibly fragile and weak. Thanks to the help of the best wildlife vets, nurses and carers, Daniel is looking better than ever. Check out how much he’s grown!

17.01.2022 King the goanna came into the hospital after being hit by a car. A few weeks on, he’s responded well to treatment and today we were able to release him back into the bush! Aren’t goannas awesome?!

17.01.2022 Meet Jacob the echidna puggle! Our team drove for 7 hours into Outback Queensland to pick up this little guy, after a dog separated him from his mother. He’s getting lots of love, care and echidna milk formula, and is on his way to the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital to be checked over.

15.01.2022 Queensland legislation needs to change so that we are able to make decisions on where koalas can be safely released. Right now, we are required to release koalas within 5km of where they were found. Getting an exception permit can take months. This is a sadly failed system. - Terri Irwin

11.01.2022 Meet Malle, the orphaned koala joey! He’s almost big enough to move to the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital’s Koala Kindy, where he’ll meet other young koalas and learn all the skills needed for life in the wild!

08.01.2022 Check out this X-ray! Pitta the carpet python was hit by a car, and unfortunately didn’t make it. Thankfully, the team at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital were able to successfully remove her twelve eggs, and place them in an incubator! Once these little beauties hatch, we’ll release them into the wild!

07.01.2022 Happy Ssssunday from Sunshine the green tree snake! Sunshine arrived at the hospital entangled in a net. The team carefully freed him, and treated the wounds it had caused. After a few weeks of healing, he’s been released back into the wild! @ Australia Zoo

06.01.2022 Bondi the orphaned brushtail possum is giving us all the midweek feels!

06.01.2022 Meet our newest patient at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital, Alexa! This adorable little girl was found alone, with her mother nowhere to be found. She’s weak, dehydrated and emaciated, but is being cared for around the clock by our wonderful veterinary team!

05.01.2022 We would like to share incredible news with you! Some time ago Bindi Irwin and Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors launched a fundraising campaign to help the Black... Mambas with their work. Hundreds of Wildlife Warriors worldwide have donated to this cause, and today we have received a mind-blowing announcement - R 100.000 has been collected and is on its way to help us out! This means the world to us, especially now, that things are not easy anywhere on the Globe. The Black Mambas team would like to thank Bindi and every single Wildlife Warrior for being exceptionally kind and caring. It is thanks to you our All-Female Anti-Poaching Unit can stay resilient and continue protecting African wildlife!

03.01.2022 No matter how small the patient, a life is worth all the time and effort we can give. This #GivingTuesday, you can help us give wildlife a second chance by making a donation or joining our monthly giving program. For more info, visit: www.wildlifewarriors.org.au
