24.01.2022 Reminder; New Moon on the 17 of September - time to create your own intentions for the month. These intention I place on the mirror for the month and say them to myself each morning as part of my self love ritual. I choose the ones that make me feel really uncomfortable or where my biggest growth needs to be. Then the full moon comes around and I check in to see if they are effective, if not i make them more challenging for myself. A big one for me this month, is "I am comple...tely full of energy and only give the overflow". Tell us some of your intentions? Plant your seedlings now, because as the moon builds up to a full moon is the best time to germinate your seeds. This time is when I place my tinctures out and they stay out till full moon, it helps them collect the energy and growth. I love making hand tailored smudges at this time too, as the energy build up of the plants is amazing, especially when my clients want them full of intentions. Best time to craft.

21.01.2022 This always struck me as a good question to ask when people said "Its a jungle out there". I would often think, what about the jungle in ourselves first? What if we looked at the jungle within ourselves and then worked towards positioning ourselves better for the external jungle. I am reminded everyday about the inner jungle in which we all live, for some of us its a beautiful lush healthy environment which is safe, vibrant and loving. And for others its a scary jungle, with ...many twists and turns. I came to realise that our jungles within us can be tame, fruitful, joyous, loving and full of our own sense of power. Its doesn't mean it has to be these things it can be what every you choose it to be, however working on your choice to grow is imperative in life. I feel when your inner world/jungle has growth and learnings, it will then reflect on your outer world or jungle. What is it you truly want in the this world? What is it under the surface that you require in life for yourself? What is the fantasy you have had running in your head all these years? What does it look like? What does it feel like? 17.01.2022 This is my son who is in the middle of his Speech Pathologist session. This is the wonderful Julie from Talk HQ Speech Pathology. The way she takes my son on a journey and shows him correct pronunciation of words is next level. He loves her and just look at the way she connect with him, this is a little fun moment in the middle of the session. He feels connected because they have fun a learn at the same time. This is all via zoom because Julie is in Aye, QLD and we are in Melbourne. I am amazed it works so well on line and am thrilled with his progress. Thank Julie for being the special human you are.

16.01.2022 What is one thing you have done to connect back to you today? Interesting question isn't it? Today I went out into the garden on the grass, took my shoes off, placed my feet on the ground and just had some stillness.... It really does not take to much time to connect with yourself and as you can see from my example above it actually was not that hard either. Why is it so important to connect back into your body? Because we get caught up in the day, week, life and forget to ground ourselves, we forget to feel into ourselves and see what is coming up for us. Its important for us to reconnect to ourselves in order for us to create meaningful fulfilling lives for ourselves. It helps you to grow, to expand, to open up and learn new things, its about discovering you and why wouldn't you want to do that. So tell me below the one thing you did for you today to connect back into your body?
15.01.2022 Some tools and tricks for life in lock down as a introvert with a house full of people. An introvert is often thought of as a quiet, reserved, and thoughtful individual. Which to be honest I don't actually fit that explanation. People often say i am extroverted, however I am not. I am open, speak my truth, yet need and i repeat need time to myself in order to recharge. I have found in lock down being in a house with other humans to be challenging. Yes i know these humans I a...m married too and I have birthed and are friends with, however this does not mean I need time out. So how do you do this when you are all sharing the one space. Well its easy. First of all have strong boundaries. If you say my door is closed please do not enter then mean that and explain that to everyone. (might be harder with a 4 year old, just saying) Here are some tips to follow; Anyway, find those moment, for example i lock the door now when i am having a shower, it gives me time to do my breath work, my future me work and obviously some personal space time. Take a walk alone. Sit out in your garden alone. Do your gardening. Go shopping. Read a book. Meditate. I know when i have implemented all the things i have been able to breath easy, to fill my cup for me first and then i am able to be the friend, mother, wife i want to be. What do you do to keep your cup full?
15.01.2022 I have walked through life knowing other projections of themselves on me and I have taken their projections as truths for me. About 10 years back I started to understand that others like to project their underlying beliefs on you and that it’s our choice to receive these messages as truths for us. So when I started to appreciate me for me, life really started to change, boundaries where created and I must say, my perspective on myself has changed so much. When did you discover that others project their beliefs on you? What did you do?

13.01.2022 Sometimes in life we rush to get healed or we rush an outcome and don’t sit in the tension of life. In the tension is the answer, whether it’s a tough answer or a joyous one, sit in it, connect with it, ask it questions and allow the answer to flow. For example, this week I had a situation arise about a service that was provided to us and at first I really got annoyed at the quality of work, it annoyed me that it was just allowed to happen, with no conversation on inclusion o...f my input. I fought this for a few days and I mean really verbalized my opinion. In the end I realised I was not just sitting in it and when I did, I found the answer, it wasn’t about the quality of work, it was about respecting our money. You see I could have sat in it and enjoyed the rain for a while, then it would have come to me sooner, rather than fighting and using energy I didn’t need to use because that took me further away from my answer. 09.01.2022 How do you check in on yourself? Do you sit there and THINK about how you are feeling, how you feel today? Then you answer this and go about your day. Do you check in with your body as well, and not in the sense of saying hey I have a sore neck, does it feel tight all over, do you have an irregular heart beat, are you hot and flushed. How does your overall body feel.... Do you check in on your energy centres, do you feel your aura and what energy you are putting out to the cosmos today? All these things combined tell you how you feel and without checking on the whole system how will you every really know what is happening in your body and your energetic field. You see within you and external to you we are surrounded by an invisible field of electromagnetic energy. This energy carries our conscious intentions and if you are thinking negative thoughts this is what your body will pick up on and show you and your energy field will too. When we connect and activate each of our 7 energy centres know as chakras we are expressing energy out of these centres, so when we are up and about and omitting negative energy from our centres we will find negative energy coming our way and we will find our body holds onto this energy. Therefor you may be living in fight or flight mode, you may be just in survival mode, which can cause so many things in our actual body, like stress, over consuming and if you have been doing this for a while the energy centres start to shrink, they work on a lower frequency and this is where we can create disease in our bodies. That’s why its so important to feel into your body as well, not just your mind. Its about fine tuning your body, allowing all energy centres to work coherently and within this we can feel our body respond differently every day, it starts to align and fine tune itself to become more harmonious within, which in turn show up externally. Breath work is a great way to align, attune and harmonise the body and the energy centres. One breath work I use is from the heart Math institute and this is how we do it. Step 1: Focus your attention in the area of the heart. Imagine your breath is flowing in and out of your heart or chest area, breathing a little slower and deeper than usual. Suggestion: Inhale 5 seconds, exhale 5 seconds (or whatever rhythm is comfortable for you.) Step 2: Make a sincere attempt to experience a regenerative feeling such as appreciation or care or gratitude for someone or something in your life. Suggestion: Try to re-experience the feeling you have for someone you love, a pet, a special place, an accomplishment, etc. or focus on a feeling of calm or ease. This will help your heart sit in a coherent state and will calm your energy centres, however to align them there is other work you can do, for more info PM me for further details
06.01.2022 When we hear the word stillness we immediately think of it as the opposite of movement - but stillness is something quite different altogether. We also think it’s impossible to be still in every sense of the word. Stillness is an energetic quality of being. Stillness is in everyone of us, it’s part of our being, our humanness. It’s even there when we are angry or feel super charged, however it is still there in all of us.... I know I chose to forget about that stillness within for a long time, I felt it difficult to just be, and that doesn’t mean sitting in front of the TV either. How did I loose this stillness, when it’s still in me, what made me decide to loose it. Distractions is what it was, in parts of my life I chose to distract myself as stillness first brought up things I did not want to deal with or even know how to deal with at the time. I would do anything to distract myself, food, work, homework, play, drink, dance. So many things, however non bad it was still a distraction. This then became my daily life, my norm. The word stillness comes from the Classical Greek word stele which means ‘a post’. In Latin the word for stillness is silentium meaning ‘silence and immobility’. Similarly, the Sanskrit word for stillness meant ‘immobile’. So stillness is a choice a free choice we can make, it helps us to reconnect into ourselves and being present within and in our body. It’s a gift we have that allows us to be at one with everything. Stillness creates the ebbs and flow of life, it helps us to ground and align. Stillness can be created in movement, have you ever watched the ocean and although it’s moving it has a stillness about it, it’s unaffected by its in movement to have a sense of stillness. We have this ability too, have you ever been in a salt pod or salt lake, you still feel the movement of the salty water but there is a stillness when floating. We don’t need to search for it, it’s within. How do you find it again, through breathwork, through meditation, through having a bath, there are so many ways to feel it again. Just start with a 2 minutes of stillness and work your way up to a full 20 minutes.
